Car Vent Phone Mount
Vent mounts are the easiest car phone holder to print because they need no adhesive and leave no marks. The catch is heat: a car interior in summer passes 60 °C, which is above PLA's softening point, so a PLA mount will sag and drop your phone.
Fits: Horizontal vent blades 2–5 mm thick
Make this one yours. Cadio generates it to your measurements — change the size, slot count, or angle by describing what you need.

What actually matters
- This is the one part where material is not optional. PLA in a parked car in summer will deform — use PETG at minimum, ASA if you can.
- Check your vent blades before printing. Round or mesh vents need a completely different clip.
- Keep it light. A heavy mount levers on a thin plastic blade and can snap the vent itself, which is a far more expensive repair.
Questions
Will it damage my vents?
Not if it is light and the clip is sized to your blades. A heavy mount on thin blades is what causes damage.
Can I use it with a MagSafe puck?
Yes — generate a version with a magnet pocket instead of side grips.
Need it in a different size, or with more slots?
