GoPro Mount Adapter

The GoPro three-tab interface is a de facto standard, which makes printed adapters genuinely useful — you can mount a camera to almost anything once you have the tab geometry right. Getting the tab thickness wrong is what makes a printed mount rattle.

Fits: GoPro and all three-tab compatible cameras

Make this one yours. Cadio generates it to your measurements — change the size, slot count, or angle by describing what you need.

What actually matters

  • Print the tabs vertically. Flat-printed tabs snap at a layer line the first time the camera takes a knock.
  • Test-fit a single tab before printing a full mount — 0.1 mm too thick and it will not seat, too thin and it rattles.
  • Never use PLA for anything on a moving bike or helmet. Vibration plus a brittle material ends with a camera on the road.

Questions

Will it fit non-GoPro cameras?

Any camera using the three-tab standard, which most action cameras do.

Is a printed mount safe for a helmet?

For a camera, yes, in PETG. Never print anything structural to the helmet itself.

Need it in a different size, or with more slots?
