Nozzle Storage Case

Nozzles are small, look identical, and are useless once you cannot tell a 0.4 from a 0.6. A case with labelled sockets solves it permanently, and takes about an hour to print.

Fits: MK8, V6 and Volcano nozzles

Make this one yours. Cadio generates it to your measurements — change the size, slot count, or angle by describing what you need.

What actually matters

  • Recess the labels rather than raising them. Raised text on a small case wears smooth from handling.
  • Size sockets for the nozzle hex, not the thread. 7 mm across flats fits standard MK8 and V6.
  • A friction-fit lid is enough — a hinge on a part this small usually snaps first.

Questions

Will it fit Volcano nozzles?

They are longer, so increase the socket depth. The hex is the same.

Can I print it in one piece?

The case and lid print separately, both flat, with no supports.

Need it in a different size, or with more slots?
