Wall Toothbrush Holder

A toothbrush sitting in a closed cup stays wet, and wet is what grows bacteria. A wall holder with open drainage keeps brushes dry between uses, which is the entire hygiene argument for one.

What actually matters

  • Open bottoms, not cups. A cup collects water and defeats the point of wall-mounting.
  • PETG over PLA. A humid bathroom is exactly the environment where PLA slowly degrades.
  • Print it in a solid colour and clean it occasionally — layer lines do trap grime, so a holder that never gets washed is worse than a smooth shop-bought one.

Questions

Does it fit electric toothbrushes?

22 mm slots fit most electric handles. Measure yours — some are wider.

Is printed plastic hygienic in a bathroom?

It is fine if you clean it. Layer lines give bacteria more surface than smooth plastic, so wash it periodically.

Need it in a different size, or with more slots?
