Wi-Fi Router Wall Mount

Routers work better mounted high and clear of obstructions, and getting one off a shelf frees space while improving coverage. The design constraint that matters is airflow — routers throttle when they overheat, so a cradle that blocks the vents makes your Wi-Fi worse, not better.

Fits: Most consumer routers up to 240 mm wide

Make this one yours. Cadio generates it to your measurements — change the size, slot count, or angle by describing what you need.

What actually matters

  • Find the vents on your router before you measure. Cradle arms that cover an intake will make the router throttle under load.
  • PETG over PLA here — this part sits against a device that is warm 24 hours a day.
  • Mount it vertically if your router has side vents; horizontally only if the vents are on the top and bottom.

Questions

Will this fit my specific router?

Measure yours and generate it to size — router dimensions vary enormously. Width, depth and vent positions are the three that matter.

Is it safe to enclose a router?

Do not fully enclose one. This is an open cradle for that reason: it holds the router without restricting airflow.

Need it in a different size, or with more slots?
